Am a newbie!! (both to this forum and to loom knitting) I have been watching Good Knit Stitches "how to" videos and would like to know where is the best place to get patterns. I saw a hat she had taught the decrease method and would like to have the pattern. She had used a very light green color and it looked to be straight knit for so many rows and then she switched to a what looked like a knit/purl, although I know it was just the basic loom stitch on the top. I guess I also need to learn...
Loom Knitting is so nice because it is easy to learn and great for people of almost all ages. There are no needles required. Just a loom, a small special knitting tool and yarn are all you need to get started. There are many stitches that imitate traditional knitting with needles. Don't get me wrong though, loom knitting or knitting on a "rake" has been around for hundreds of years. It is faster than traditional knitting and it's extra wonderful for those who have carpel tunnel or other...
When it comes to buying flooring, the options and selections are endless. I've very much a flooring expert. (I'm interior Designer by trade who has several years experience in the floor covering industry) I'm working on tutorials for help on real world how to's for shopping for your home flooring or wondering how its made, etc.
I'm a registered interior Designer. I find many people want to know just some short tips or trick about things in their home but are afraid to ask. I'm not really intending this to be a seminar on design but simply a forum for everyday help. :-)
What is your favorite loom knitting project? Something that you always find yourself going back to. Does it relax you? Do you earn money for it or donate? I'd love to hear from you!
OMG I'm soooo excited! I did a totally original loom video!!! My YouTube - Please subscribe! This stitch is usually done on needles only and I've never seen it on a loom...until Now! Yay!
